A Chartered Management Accountant and Executive Coach, Bruce has particular interests in Corporate Governance, and developing high-performance Finance teams.
After 13 years working in London, latterly serving in EMEA and Global roles at a multinational, Bruce returned to his native South Africa in early 2014. Currently based in Cape Town, he spends his time predominantly serving the UK and SA markets.
Bruce has extensive experience of finance and operations functions, and has occupied numerous leadership roles throughout his career, in both Corporate and SME environments. Having been involved with several change programmes, particularly involving system and process changes, he has a keen understanding of the challenges leaders face in these situations.
Bruce holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a specialism in Management, and completed his MBA at the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town, where he specialised in Leadership. His research explored ‘Leaders’ power orientation and followership in financial services’.
In his spare time Bruce enjoys spending time with his wife and young son. Rugby is a passion, and he served as Club Captain of his team in London, King’s College Hospital, for twelve seasons. Bruce also enjoys golf, squash and scuba diving, and plays bagpipes for the Cape Town Highlanders.
